There were two reasons for me to start a PTC supported blog. The very first and basic reason was to get myself some referrals for my PTC accounts. But while I was preparing my first post I just get this idea. "Man, I could do a lot than that!". So I drafted that post and did a little research.
That little research became a quite big one. I read a lot of forums, blogs, many resources, personal experiences. A Lot! During my research I have seen a lot of cries, complaints about getting suspended, losing their money. And I could clearly understand one thing. The reason for a user to get banned, suspended and loose all invested money along with account is actually violating ToS. There's always a reason they can throw at you. There are many tricky ones. One can say they are not fair. But you can't do anything about it. Because you have already agreed to the. Now you have to play by their rules.
So my second reason was to give PTC users the knowledge they never had. I abandoned my last blog with unfinished first post and started this blog. I hope you will find it handy. But I still have that first reason too... ;)
Okay now we are going review Terms of Service of a regular Paid To Click site. Terms of Service (ToS)/ Agreement/ Rules or any other similar document plays the most important part of your relationship with your PTC site. It's like a rope. Either it will help you to survive when you are going to fall off a cliff or it will help you to hang your self and die in vain.
Please Note: In this article I have covered the basic and common rules and facts of a ToS. It does not mean they all are the same. You must read the ToS of your PTC site very carefully before you join it. The purpose of this article is to sketch the outlines of a ToS and give some tips regarding it.
ToS is a legal bond between a website and it's users. Both parties (website and user) can use a term of service agreement for legal purposes or simply to justify a cause of an action.
Terms of service are subject to change with or without notice. Administration or the management has the discretion to change it.
Now let's talk about PTC which matters to us.
You can read it here: Terms of Service Sample of a Paid to Click Site
Now I'm going to explain the most important parts of a PTC ToS agreement that you must remember using my sample PTC rule numbers.
Basically these are the rules you can see everywhere. But not all of them. The best way is read your site's ToS by your self.
Happy earnings clickers!

What is a Terms of Service of a website

A single or multiple ToS agreement/s can be used to cover different types of services provided by the service provider.ToS is a legal bond between a website and it's users. Both parties (website and user) can use a term of service agreement for legal purposes or simply to justify a cause of an action.
Terms of service are subject to change with or without notice. Administration or the management has the discretion to change it.
Violation of ToS
Violation or breach of terms of service may cause to end their service, to restrict or terminate user's access to their services, to cut of user privileges or permanent suspension of user account.Outline of a ToS
A ToS agreement usually contains following sections:- Definition of phrases used in ToS
- Who is bounded by the ToS
- Rules and conditions of the service
- Accepted user behaviour while using their service
- Subscription fees and related payment details (if applicable)
- Defined misuse of their service
- The cause of actions against misuse
- Privacy policy outlining the use of user's personal data
- Last update time of the ToS (if applicable)
Now let's talk about PTC which matters to us.
Explaining important sections of a PTC ToS agreement
After I filled this article with boring and out of topic contents, I figure this is going to be a very long one. So I created a new post with a sample ToS. Open it in a new tab to follow this article with sense. You can read it here: Terms of Service Sample of a Paid to Click Site
ATTENTION: After you read your PTC site's ToS, take a screenshot of the whole ToS page including site url if possible. Name it with date (Ex: ToS_of_myptcsite.com_9-22-2013.jpg) and save it somewhere safe and remember. You may need it later.
Now I'm going to explain the most important parts of a PTC ToS agreement that you must remember using my sample PTC rule numbers.
1 | USER ACCOUNT |
1.1 | You can't give away your PTC account to anyone. So if you are going to create it for someone else or planning to sell it later. You can't. |
1.2 | Keep your password safe. You can't blame them if you get your account hacked. |
1.3 | Even if you don't have time to click ads, remember to at least login within the period of time they asked you to do so if you want to keep you account and money. |
1.4 | You can invest and earn. But you can't ask for the money you already gave them. |
1.5 | It's a good one. They won't show or give your email address to 3rd parties. |
1.6 | This is a really strict one. Most sites have this rule as "You can only have one account". So read it carefully on your site. As this rule implied; Never, ever create multiple accounts on the same site using same computer or same IP address. Anyone else in your house can't have another account of the same site unless they have different IPs (not shared) and computers. Also you can't create multiple accounts for yourself even using different IPs or computers. You can't create an account for your friend using your PC. If you do; you will loose all of them. |
1.7 | This is one of the most important rule. You can't share your payment processor account (Payza, PayPal, Neteller) with any other user. As an example; User johnuk35987 and user philipofus90 both can't have letsgetrichsomehow@gmail.com as their PayPal email address. |
1.8 | It's same as 1.6. If you like you can use both of your PC and laptop to login to your account and view ads unless you are not violating 1.11. But you can't use your PC or laptop, to login to another account and view ads. Let's say you have used your laptop this one time about 6 months ago while you were away to view ads. Then after sometime you sell it to a friend who has an account on the same site. And you use it to login and view ads using his account. Next time when you try to cashout you get an alert saying 'You account is suspended for violating ToS 1.8'. It's a really messed up situation, right? The only advice I can give you is; do not use a second hand computer to register, login or view ads. And do not sell you computer unless it's fully refurbished. |
1.9 | This is another important one. You can't see the same ad twice in a day. It's not allowed. Do not use multiple IPs to view ads within 24 hours; or your account will be terminated. But you can login using multiple IPs. Once again, dynamic IPs will be excused most of the time. But please ask it from the administration befor you do that. |
1.10 | If you see a rule like this (most of the time there is), do not use your account at school, work, air port, hotel, ciber cafe or by using any kind of Proxy or VPN. Don't even login. |
1.11 | Yes, be careful. |
1.12 | This doesn't mean that you can't use a url shortener service. You can use a url shortener. Contact your site administrator if you insist. But you can't redirect a web url using any redirect method like 301 redirect, a meta command, using the .htaccess file, javaScript code or any other automated redirect service. Also you can't embed that site inside another web page like an IFrame. Ex: Someone clicks a url which is www.yoursite.com/my-bux-site-referral-links.html. Instead of landing it there, it redirects to www.mybuxsite.com/?referral=0000000000. |
1.13 | Do not any script to reload pages. Do not keep pressing F5 button or refresh button. |
1.14 | If your account is suspended and if you need to create another account using same computer and/or internet connection contact them. Otherwise you will loose the new one too. |
1.15 | Be careful. Never try to beat the system. Be honest. |
1.16 | Do not use any inappropriate user name. Avoid using political, religion, national, celebrity, etc... related user names. Your username should not insult anyone or anything. |
1.17 | Woooh... Be really careful. |
1.18 | Choose your username carefully. And enter correct information regarding yourself. You can't ask to change it later. You can't change your referrer either. |
1.19 | |
1.19 | Do not use false information while registering to a site. And do not enter anything without considering it twice. And check your filled data again before submit. See rule #1.21 Let's say you entered your birth year as 1993. But your real birth year is 1983. When you see it you change it back to 1983 by login to your account. Funny thing is, they can use it against you if they want. So be careful. |
1.20 | No explanation required. |
1.21 | They can ask that. Another good reason to not to use false information. |
1.22 | No explanation required. |
2 | REFERRALS |
2.1 | Use your referral link, also see rule #2.9. |
2.2 | No explanation required. |
2.3 | Read this rule carefully. Do not send emails with your referral link to a large number of recipients. Also do not force anyone or try to trick anyone to be your referral. And anything mass would be bad. |
2.4 | Auto exchange policy apply for Rented Referrals only. And they will only be replaced when new ones are available. If you didn't extend a referral before expire it will cost you a small amount. |
2.5 | No explanation required. |
2.6 | No explanation required. |
2.7 | Always remember to click minimum required ads everyday- by server time. Specially if you have rented or direct referrals. If you missed it today, you will lose the profit from your referrals tomorrow. |
2.8 | Look out for it if you are a new member. Otherwise you will waste your money for advertising. |
2.9 | Know your limitations. If you reach it, do not advertise to get more. It's a waste of money. |
2.10 | This is completely different than previous rule. If you get Direct Referrals beyond your limits you won't get any profit from the extra ones. But if you get Rented Referrals beyond your limits, you will lose earnings from all of them. See this scenario. Let's say you upgraded your account to a Gold account type. And you rented 2000 referrals. But when your account expires after an year, you feels like not extending it. So you let it to be a Standard one which has a rented referral limit of 200. What will happen now? You have 1800 extra referrals. If you have to pay $0.05 to let a referral expire, it will cost you $90. And you have to wait until every single extra referral expire to get profit from remaining 200. Think it through before you upgrade and rent referrals. |
3 | FORUMS, GENERAL USER BEHAVIOR |
3.1 | No explanation required. |
3.2 | No explanation required. |
3.3 | Show respect. |
3.4 | No explanation required.. |
3.5 | If you want to ask something, or if you have something to solve, do it with patient. Do not panic and yell through when you lose profit. Ask what you have to ask nicely. Don't say everything you have to say i9f you don't have proof. |
3.6 | Don't say things like, "This site is a scam. They didn't pay me" (even that's the truth); if you want to keep your account any longer. |
3.7 | No explanation required. |
3.8 | Don't spam the forum. It's not your marketplace. |
4 | ANTI-CHEAT POLICY |
4.1 | Be honest. Do not even think about hacking it. |
4.2 | Yep... |
4.3 | I warn you again. Don't use those auto click scripts & softwares. If you have time, click ads by your self. If you don't have enough time, forget the whole PTC idea. |
4.4 | If you try to hack it, you won't even notice that they knew it. But when you are trying to cashout your money, your account will be terminated. |
4.5 | No explanation required. |
4.6 | No explanation required. |
4.7 | Yes, they have it. |
5 | ADVERTISEMENTS |
5.1 | No explanation required. |
5.2 | Yep, explained at rule #1.9. |
5.3 | Read and understand it before submit ads. |
5.4 | Read and understand it before submit ads. |
5.5 | You can't use MyBuxSite logo to advertise MyPTCSite. |
5.6 | Read and understand it before submit ads. |
5.7 | It's important. Obey this rule. Otherwise your ad won't get approved. Even if it did, a user will complain about it and they will caught it very soon. |
5.8 | This is very important. You can't use your iPhone to view ads. Even if you are a windows 8 or similar kind OS user with a touchscreen, you are not allowed. Contact them if you hesitate. You must make your clicks using an actual MOUSE |
5.9 | Read and understand it before submit ads. |
6 | PAYMENTS TO USERS |
6.1 | You can only do transactions using them. |
6.2 | Most of the time you will get them instantly upon request. |
6.3 | Yep, if they suspect you your payments will be put on hold. |
6.4 | You have to wait until you reach the minimum amount. |
6.5 | And you can't choose how much. Whatever you have in your main balance will be withdrawn. So if you need to keep some money to rent/recycle referrals, you better add it from main balance before you cashout. |
6.6 | It's limited. |
6.7 | Usually this limit will be automatically exceeded before you reach the minimum cashout amount. |
6.8 | Please read your ToS and carefully look for these types of rules before you register. |
6.9 | It's a very risky process to change them later. So you better add valid accounts only. If you don't have an account already, leave it blank. Create your account, validate it and then add. |
6.10 | You can't change your mind later. |
6.11 | Read and understand it before register. |
6.12 | It's important. Usually only PayPal as a payment processor has this problem. So please make sure you have a paypal account from a country that can receive money and login to tour PTC site from that country. Visit this link and select you country: PayPal Offerings Worldwide |
6.13 | After they released your money, it's your payment processors responsibility. |
6.14 | Of course. You must accept your payments sent to you. May be your payment processor will accept them right away, or maybe wait for your approval. It's up to the service you use. |
6.15 | Be really really careful. If your payment processor was frozen or disabled by the time you make the cashout, you may lose that money forever. So my advice is, always log in to your relevant payment processor account before you do a cashout. And make sure everything is in order. |
6.16 | Don not refund by any chance. |
6.17 | If you accept your payment via check, deposit it before expire. Or contact them immediately before expire if you are having troubles in the process. |
6.18 | This is not that complicated. This is what you have to know: Let's say your PTC site allow 3 payment processors: PayPal, Payza and NETELLER Scenario #1: You haven't invested anything- You can do unlimited cashout to all 3 payment processors. Scenario #2: You add $5 using PayPal, $5 using NETELLER and $5 using Payza- You can do unlimited cashout to all 3 payment processors. Scenario #3: You add funds using PayPal and PayPal only- You can do unlimited cashout to PayPal as it's you primary payment processor. But you can't do any cashouts to Payza or NETELLER. Scenario #4: You add $10 using PayPal and $5 using Payza- You can do unlimited cashout to PayPal. And you can do up to $5 cashout to Payza (equal to the invest you made). But you can't do any cashouts to NETELLER. Scenario #5: You add $5 using PayPal and $5 using Payza- You can do unlimited cashout to PayPal and Payza. But you can't do any cashouts to NETELLER. Consider it before you add funds. |
6.19 | It's different from one to another and depends on the day. Consider this fee and add funds fee before you select your payment processor. |
7 | PAYMENTS TO SERVICE |
7.1 | Don't use any other form or any kind of outside services. |
7.2 | You can't ask your money back. |
7.3 | Most of the time it's about PayPal. You gotta have a verified accounts. |
7.4 | Do not send funds to their email address directly. You will lose it. |
7.5 | Again, don't try to charge-back your money. |
8 | PAID TO SIGN UP/PROMOTE |
8.1 | Simply be honest. |
8.2 | No explanation required. |
8.3 | No explanation required. |
8.4 | No explanation required. |
8.5 | No explanation required. |
8.6 | Read and understand them before you enter the contest. |
8.7 | Read and understand them before you enter the contest. |
8.8 | Read and understand them before you enter the contest. |
8.9 | Read and understand them before you enter the contest. |
9 | LIABILITY |
9.1 | That's how it works. |
9.2 | This one too. |
9.3 | You have to take care of tax fee of your country if it's applied. |
9.4 | No explanation required. |
9.5 | Be advised. |
9.6 | No explanation required. |
9.7 | |
10 | ACCOUNT TERMINATION |
10.1 | Yep, they have that right |
11 | ACCOUNT SUSPENSION |
11.1 | You will lose it forever. |
11.2 | They keep the archived, so you can't use the same details again. |
11.3 | That's why you need to read it carefully. |
11.4 | If you get suspended, you won't be able to cashout your money. You will lose it forever. |
12 | CHANGES |
12.1 | They can change this ToS anytime they want, but still you are bounded by it as you continue to use their service. So remember to check ToS page regularly. Specially if you get an alert about policy/ToS change or the update date of ToS is changed. |
12.2 | They can change website behaviour, it's theme, services, functionality or anything they want. |
13 | Copyright: |
13.1 | They are copyrighted. |
14 | THIRD PARTY ACCESS |
14.1 | You should take precautions before enter these third party sites. Never submit your personal details to anything inside a frame. Read my PTC Precautions article for more info. |
Disclaimer | |
You will see the disclaimer or link to their privacy policy here. Read it. It will ensure your safety and their rights over you. So you can decide either join them or not. |
Basically these are the rules you can see everywhere. But not all of them. The best way is read your site's ToS by your self.
Happy earnings clickers!
